I’m so happy to call Oregon my home.

This state provided me with an education that changed my life and set me on a path of giving back to our community as an educator, a social worker, and a business owner.

I understand the importance of a quality education and appreciate the need to keep jobs local. I know first-hand how hard it can be to work your way up to the middle class, and how hard it can be to stay there.

Although I always expected these years to be my retirement, I ran for office two years ago because I want to make sure that the opportunities I had growing up - a high-quality public education, the opportunity to find a good-paying job, clean air and fresh water - are still available for my daughter, and the next generation of Oregonians.

I'm proud of what we were able to accomplish in my first term, but there is still a lot of work to do. I'm running for re-election to continue to carry your priorities in Salem and to keep fighting for our community.

Thank you for taking the time to learn about our campaign, and please feel free to contact me if you have any questions. I’m here to listen.
